This 20 oz. Stainless Vacuum Insulated Tumbler Rocks!

The Yeti® tumbler has quickly overtaken the retail “mug market” with its shiny design, quality construction, and durable insulating capabilities. I received one as a gift about 6 months ago and admit I love it, but for $30 would never have purchased it for myself. When I tried at Christmas to purchase one for a gift, they were nowhere to be found at retail or even online. I had to backorder my gift and have it shipped after Christmas.

Though unscientific, I filled both my Yeti® and my test mug full with ice right out of the freezer. Put the lid on and left them on my kitchen counter. After 24 hours both appeared to be equally about ½ full of ice. At 36 hours perhaps a ¼ of the ice left, but no obvious difference between the 2 tumblers. After 48 hours, 2 full days on my counter at home, there was perhaps a tablespoon of ice left in my test mug, and only ice cold water in the Yeti® tumbler. In my “test kitchen”, Our 20 oz. insulated tumbler performed as well as “Brand Y”, keeping ice for 2 full days.
